چکیده

In this paper, available bandwidth instead of cost is taken as the prime metric of the routing algorithms in that available bandwidth is the appropriate representative of the real network. On account of concave bandwidth, this paper first presents a novel k-widest paths algorithm. Then, a novel end-to-end least-delay widest-available bandwidth path routing algorithm based on k-widest paths is proposed. The correctness and looplessness of the novel algorithm are proved as well as its polynomial complexity. Key-Words: Group multicast, Routing algorithm, Available bandwidth, Delay, Cost, K-widest paths

Using a Fuzzy Rule-based Algorithm to Improve Routing in MPLS Networks

Today, the use of wireless and intelligent networks are widely used in many fields such as information technology and networking. There are several types of these networks that MPLS networks are one of these types. However, in MPLS networks there are issues and problems in the design and implementation discussion, for example security, throughput, losses, power consumption and so on. Basically,...

Performance Analysis of QoS Routing with Network Dependant Delay Cost

This paper investigates the problem of path calcul ation of multiple metric routing. Toda 's Internet routing is based on a single metric path selecting algorithm. Single metric path is a best effort service that can only support path for one requirement. In order to support quality-of-service(QoS) call, path is subjec to multiple constraints on routing metric. In many cases, the path finding p...

Optimal Path Selection Analysis in Ad Hoc Networks

This paper aims to describe a novel QoS routing protocol for ad hoc networks based on the QOLSR protocol. The proposed QoS routing protocol is based on the standardized OLSR. The OLSR protocol is an optimization of the classical link state algorithm tailored to the requirements of a mobile wireless LAN networks. The standard OLSR introduces an interesting concept, the multipoint relays (MPRs), ...

Improving Quality of Service Routing in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks Using OLSR

Mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) are constructed by mobile nodes without access point. Since MANET has certain constraints, including power shortages, an unstable wireless environment and node mobility, more power-efficient and reliable routing protocols are needed. The OLSR protocol is an optimization of the classical link state algorithm. OLSR introduces an interesting concept, the multipoint r...

Hop-by-Hop Routing Algorithms For Premium-class Traffic in DiffServ Networks

Bear the provision of Quality of Service (QoS) in the Internet, Differentiated Service (DiffServ) model has been proposed as a cost-effective solution. Traffic is classified into several service classes with different priorities. The premium class traffic has the highest one. The routing algorithm used by the premium class service has significant effects not only on its own traffic, but on all ...
